Table tops are the hardest working surfaces. They get used and abused all day, every day. ⁣⠀

To ensure that the new communal table is up to the challenge we went with white oak and an aggressive finishing regiment: two base coats of epoxy, followed by three coats of oil/varnish.

The starting point for furnishing the new Noe Valley location was these benches. They drove the look, feel, and material choices of all the other pieces we built. ⁣⠀

We wanted long linear features that could extend along the entire wall (almost 40 feet!). Seating that would feel sturdy without looking heavy. Details and color to draw your eye without being in your face. ⁣⠀
